Scientific Sourcing and Editorial Standards
JD BioWorks publishes research education to help qualified laboratory customers evaluate material identity, analytical documentation, and traceability. Our editorial standards are designed to keep that information accurate, appropriately limited, and separate from medical or human-use guidance.
Source hierarchy
We prioritize primary and authoritative sources: peer-reviewed original research, recognized scientific databases, analytical-method references, laboratory documentation, and government or standards-body publications. Secondary sources may help explain a topic but should not replace the original evidence when a primary source is available.
Evidence classification
Articles should distinguish among in-vitro experiments, animal studies, observational research, controlled human research, analytical reports, and theoretical or mechanistic discussion. Findings from one category are not presented as proof of outcomes in another.
Claim boundaries
Content does not provide dosing, administration, diagnosis, treatment, or instructions for human or veterinary use. Research findings are described with their model, method, limitations, and publication context. JD BioWorks does not treat a “research use only” label as permission to make therapeutic claims.
Analytical accuracy
Identity, chromatographic purity, quantity, sterility, and endotoxin status are separate analytical questions. Articles and product documentation should not present one method as proof of an attribute it did not evaluate.
Authorship and review
Named authors and reviewers must use accurate, verifiable biographies. Credentials are displayed only when confirmed. Content may receive editorial, technical, or regulatory review depending on subject matter; the type of review should not be overstated.
Citations and updates
Sources are linked or identified sufficiently for readers to locate the original. Pages are reviewed when material evidence changes, an error is reported, or a documentation process changes. Significant corrections are handled under our Corrections and Document Revision Policy.
